Breakfast

There are so many rules about breakfast ... we don’t usually follow any of them! If it’s delicious, healthy and is what we want to eat then it’s what we’re having. Here are some of our favourites.

Vegetables

I love vegetables!!! All vegetables (almost all - aubergines and I are not friends but I do cook them for my hubby who loves them)

Watermelon Radish Salad.jpg

Salads

For me, salads are a really important part of any meal. In fact they often are the main meal! And when they’re not they often lighten and offer a delicious fresh, crunchy contrast to the cooked dishes.

Packed Lunches

I love a packed lunch for 3 main reasons:

1) I know exactly what I'm eating

2) I don't have to wait for my food

3) I save myself a small fortune

Baking

There is something truly therapeutic about the process of baking... something I love doing on my own and with my children. And it makes the house smell amazing!

Cooking for my family is one of the ways I show them I love them. Here I've shared some of our favourites

Kids' Snacks

Snacks are a big deal in our house! Not just something we eat to fill our tummies till the next meal. We try and make them as fun as we can and of course nutritious.

Pea & Mint Soup.jpg

Soups

On a cold day few things are as comforting as a warm bowl of soup. Add that they're easy to make and so healthy... we're big soup fans in this house

Sweet Treats

Something sweet is a perfect end to so many meals. Or just a little something to make my day a bit lovelier... I love sweet treats. Anyone who’s followed my food journey for a while now will know that I won’t compromise flavour or the health benefits of my recipes so even these treats are made with wholesome nourishing ingredients.
