Hello from Eat Happy Feel Good

I've been wanting to start this blog for a long time ... a place to share my healthy recipes, my love and passion for good food. And since this is my first post, a good place to start would be to introduce myself. I'm Christianna, a wife and mum of two, Sofia 9 and Leo 5... by far my biggest inspiration for the way I cook and eat. Before having my youngest I worked in mental health, a career I loved but balancing it with motherhood became too difficult and five years ago I became a full time mum. No regrets and I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to do so. It meant I had the time to cook the kind of food I wanted to feed my family and explore my love of food. It also gave me the opportunity to look at my relationship with food and get it to a very happy place but more on that in a later post. My views on food in a nutshell ... I absolutely love it! I believe in most things in moderation, loads of plant based goodness and avoiding processed unnatural crap. I love to cook and create, eating brings me joy and I believe food is our best medicine. It's beautiful to me that food brings people together, how it's an integral part of so many joyous occasions. I'm that person who gets excited about vegetables and happily potters around my kitchen playing with ingredients. Oh and I LOVE wooden spoons.. I have loads which my children find hilarious.
